Zingarella is an Italian fig variety, commonly described as a small to medium fruit with thin skin ranging from green to brownish-purple when ripe. The flesh is typically pink to red, fine-textured, and reported to be sweet with good flavor. It is known as a dual-crop variety, producing both breba and main crop figs. Ripening occurs in mid to late season. Also reported under the synonym Zingara. May be confused with other Italian varieties that have similar skin coloration and dual-crop habit.
