[Reference entry - not a grower report]
This post was generated automatically from public fig references to seed the variety archive. It's not someone's actual growing experience, and the photos are just generic Wikimedia images of Ficus carica, not this specific variety. If you've actually grown De la Filera, corrections are totally welcome.
De la Filera is a Spanish fig variety, usually described as producing medium to large fruits with a yellowish-green or pale green skin.
The fruit is typically oblong or slightly pyriform in shape.
Flesh is reported to be pale pink or amber, with a mild to moderate flavor.
Ripens in the main (breba) and second crop seasons.
There's not much published data on leaf morphology or tree vigor available in English-language sources.
Might go by regional synonyms in Spanish-speaking growing regions.
Documentation for this variety is pretty limited outside its native areas.
