Kahramani

זן שנטען: Kahramani

[Reference entry - not a grower report] This post was generated automatically from public fig references to seed the variety archive. It is not anyone's first-hand growing experience, and the photos are generic Wikimedia images of Ficus carica, not of this specific variety. Corrections from real growers are welcome. Kahramani is a fig variety commonly reported from Turkey and the broader Mediterranean region. The fruit is described as medium to small, typically with dark purple or blackish skin at full ripeness. Flesh is reported to be sweet and amber or reddish in colour. The variety is often grown in Turkey and the Levant, where it ripens mid to late season. Little detailed information on leaf morphology or tree habit is widely documented in English sources. May be encountered under alternative spellings or local synonyms.
