Variété déclarée: De la Filera

[Reference entry - not a grower report] This post was generated automatically from public fig references to seed the variety archive. It is not anyone's first-hand growing experience, and the photos are generic Wikimedia images of Ficus carica, not of this specific variety. Corrections from real growers are welcome. De la Filera is a Spanish fig variety, commonly described as producing medium to large fruits with a yellowish-green or pale green skin. The fruit is typically oblong or slightly pyriform in shape. Flesh is reported to be pale pink or amber, with a mild to moderate flavor. Ripens in the main (breba) and second crop seasons. Little published data on leaf morphology or tree vigor is widely available in English-language sources. May be known by regional synonyms in Spanish-speaking growing regions. Documentation for this variety is limited outside its native regions.
