Carlina

Variété déclarée: Carlina

[Reference entry - not a grower report] This post was generated automatically from public fig references to seed the variety archive. It is not anyone's first-hand growing experience, and the photos are generic Wikimedia images of Ficus carica, not of this specific variety. Corrections from real growers are welcome. Carlina is a European fig variety, commonly described as a mid-season to late-season producer. Fruit is reported to be medium-sized with a skin colour ranging from green to yellowish-green, sometimes with bronze or russet tones. Flesh is typically pale pink to light amber. The variety is known for good productivity and hardiness in temperate climates. Little detailed information about leaf lobing or precise ripening window is widely documented in English-language sources. Carlina may be confused with other green or yellow-fleshed varieties; positive identification should rely on multiple characteristics and local growing records.
