Variedad declarada: Bourjasotte Grise

[Reference entry - not a grower report] This post was generated automatically from public fig references to seed the variety archive. It is not anyone's first-hand growing experience, and the photos are generic Wikimedia images of Ficus carica, not of this specific variety. Corrections from real growers are welcome. French variety with small to medium fruit, commonly described as producing grey-brown or brownish-grey skin at maturity. Flesh is reported to be amber or light red. Tree habit is typically compact. Ripens in late summer to early autumn. Also known as Grise de Bourjasotte. Sometimes confused with other grey-skinned French varieties such as Grise de Saint-Jean or Précoce Ronde Violette due to overlapping appearance and nomenclature variation across regions. Primary crop figs and breba crops may differ in colour intensity.
